worlds lightest metal

The new metal is 99.9% air and 0.01% solid. the metal is impact resistant and absorbs energy from shock and other energized substances. it has a micro- lattice cellular structure. the metal weighs more than 100 times less than styro foam and can be placed apon a dandelion fluff without damaging it. i thought that it was interesting because of how light it was. it was also ineresting because of how it can withstand so much force before breaking. this metal is 1000 times thinner than a human hair. before i saw this article i thought that titanium was the worlds lightest metal.
